Minimum required is a schematic design or a netlist file in ExpressPCB format.
The schematic needs to be complete, and verified by the customer, prior to PCB design start.
If you supply a netlist, the schematic and the netlist must agree.
Bill Of Materials
We require that you specify each individual part for your design. We don’t know your tolerances and application parameters as well as you do.
Specific footprint information for each component is also required. Many components come in a choice of footprints. A complete datasheet for each component is the most effective method to deliver this requirement.
Board Outline
You can draw the board outline with ExpressPCB, and share that with us directly (Recommended).
To understand the design parameters and your special requirements for your PCB, these parameters are essential to know for the manufacturer. These parameters can also be simply stated in a text file, usually named

Part Number: it is recommended that for unique identification your PCB should have the logical P/N be put in the readme file. Also, the same P/N should be added to the Copper layer or in the silk screen layer, which will help to identify the PCB for both you and your manufacturer.
Revision: with the P/N, revision should be added to the PCB either in Copper layer or in the silk layer, usually placed next to the bare PCB P/N.
Layers: Physical layers of the PCB
PCB Size: Maximum length and width dimensions of the PCB. This is helpful to decide the correct scale value when the gerber data is not provided into 1:1 scale.
Thickness: height of the PCB from top to bottom later, the industry standard is to measure thickness
PCB thickness tolerance is usually +/- 10% unless otherwise specified.
Copper: standard Copper weight for outer layers is 0.5oz and for internal layers is 1oz.
Material: material selection is a significant cost driver, there is much to consider. Most applications require FR4 with a Tg130 to Tg140 rating. The typical dielectric constant is 4.2~4.5.
Soldermask: specify LPI mask is used on one or two sides (liquid photoimageable) and the color, if it is used. Green is the most commonly used, however blue, red, black and clear colors are also available.
Silk-screen: specify if silk-screen is used on one or two sides and the color for the silk- screen. White is the most commonly used.
Surface finish: this is the desired finish which is applied over the exposed Copper pads. We are providing following surface finishes:
1. HAL (Sn-Pb)
2. Imm. Silver
3. ENIG
4. Any lead free finish
